IS THE BEERD SHOW

With arguably the best beard in BC, it’s easy to spot The Beerd Show. His distinctive grey streak, edgy fashion sense, and charismatic magnetism draws people in at every bar he visits. However, more popular than his beard, may just be his love for craft beer. What started as an interest in the local industry and a passion for promotion quickly made him the curator of the BC craft beer scene.

It all started back in 2014 at Tap & Barrel, where he sat at the bar and was mesmerized by the over 30 taps of local craft beer to choose from. The flavours, originality, and hop profiles drew him in and since then, his love for craft beer has only grown, much like his beard.

With all the attention that he received at the bars & breweries, a show to promote the local scene was created. “The Beerd Show” showcased the local industry by interviewing brewmasters, doing tastings, and connecting with other craft beer enthusiasts. Ten episodes were filmed at establishments such as Twin Sails Brewing, VCBW Festival, Andina Brewing, Main Street Brewing, & others.

As the show grew in popularity, The Beerd Show graced the cover of the Fall 2017 issue of What’s Brewing Magazine, was listed in The Growler Magazine as one of BC’s top craft beer Instagrammers, and even called “the face of the BC craft beer scene” by one of the industry’s heavyweights.

Kevin has not only been a huge promoter of the local craft beer scene, but he is also the most fashionable. He is constantly recognized at BC breweries for not only having a beer in hand, but also for his rock n’ roll look. With his dark wardrobe, edgy designer accessories, he looks as good as the best craft beer in the bar!
